Today I was at my best friend’s and my godchild’s to give them my Christmas presents. And of course to also get presents hihi
They live a few miles from me.
When I arrived at their place I saw that there was hoar frost everywhere on the trees and plants.
Unfortunately I didn’t have my camera with me but only my mobile phone to take photos. When I was back home I had hoped that I had hoarfrost too, so I could take better photos, but there was nothing there. Too bad.
There you can see what a few miles for a difference make. The air at the house of my friend is more humid because of the stream nearby, her house is a little more open with more wind. My house is in the middle of the city.
On the photos you can see what cold, humid air and wind create for works of art. It looks like every plant suddenly got needles.
Even cobwebs suddenly look like works of art
I would go there again to take real photos, but I saw in the garden after a few hours that the hoarfrost has changed, that the beautiful shape got lost.
Today again a picture from my Christmas porcelain collection.
This year the small ornaments were added. One is hanging on the tree, two I placed next to their big originals for the photo. I find them so cute ❤ ❤ ❤
On my last day of my Advent calendar I come in the most important language of the Christmas Gospel: Aramaic.
The language that Jesus spoke to his followers and disciples, the language with which he found so many who believed in him, that even today, after more than 2000 years, we still celebrate the day of his birth.
My thanks goes to those who have put the translations of the Bible in so many languages on the Internet. I hope no one will mind that I used these lines.
Advent, advent, a candle is burning First one, then two, then three, then four, Then the Christ Child is standing in front of the door.
OMG, is this really the fourth Sunday of Advent?
Time has raced. Fortunately I did everything I wanted to do.
I also sewed presents but unfortunately I forgot to photograph them before I gave them as gifts.
If you look at all 4 photos with the candles on the Advent wreath, you will see that it has gone from very bad on the first photo to almost perfect on this one. The first photo took so long that it was already dark outside. The other two I had taken during the day and looked better.
The trick is to spotlight. I had wondered all the time why the photo looked so bad in the beginning and then googled how to photograph candles.
So I bought small studio lamps for the last photo and lightened the motive with the candles. And voilà it worked 😀
Today I wanted to show something I had made myself, I had painted it, finished it, and now I wanted to put it on the table.
My disappointment was great because it didn’t look as I had planned. I have to do it again and change it.
Therefore today only the cars which would have been part of the project.
My challenge: One year - I will not buy clothes - I will upcycle to make what I need - everything from underwear to evening wear! Join me for tips, exclusive BrawHem makes, and inevitably some hilarious disasters...
