Merry Christmas to all
Today again a picture from my Christmas porcelain collection.
This year the small ornaments were added. One is hanging on the tree, two I placed next to their big originals for the photo. I find them so cute ❤ ❤ ❤
Today my Christmas gospel comes in Finnish.
From a country when I read about it I always think of a lot of snow. Snow that we won’t have at Christmas if you believe the meteorologist. Too bad, because white Christmas would be so romantic.
Today I come with Hebrew.
When I was a very little girl, I got a huge doll for Christmas. The doll was almost as big as me. She had lots of clothes and I loved to play with her.
I remember that my Mum brought this doll back to the attic after 4 weeks and next Christmas it was under the Christmas tree again. That happened for a few years.
I completely forgot until I found the doll in my photo on the internet. I don’t even know what happened to the big doll that looked exactly like the one I bought last year. Only my new one is smaller. I only remember that the doll belonged to my mum before.
For nostalgic reasons I bought this doll girl and also a boy. It is not for playing because it is very old and fragile. But every time I see this doll, I remember Christmas in my childhood ❤ ❤ ❤

Today the Christmas Gospel in Thai
It amazes me every day how many languages the Bible can be found in. Is there a language in the world in which one has not translated the Bible?
I am glad that I can find my favorite passage in the Bible in so many languages.
Christmas is coming so fast now that every day you think of something new to do.
Today I come with Danish.
My photo today has no Christmas figure or anything like that.
The reason is I simply forgot to take a picture and put the calendar just in front of my Christmas tree hehe
Today I have the Christmas Gospel in Latin.
A language that is still used today in so many ways: Medicine, mathematics, chemistry.
You can even hear the preaching in Latin in the church.
Even today we still use words that come from Latin and maybe we don’t even know it. Like schola = school or pictura = picture or Semper Fideles, the marines’ motto
You see, for a “dead” language, Latin is still pretty much alive.
Today the Christmas Gospel in Chinese.
I hope I can find enough other translations because it is difficult to find new ones.
These cookie jars remind me of the ones my mother always had. I found them in a shop last year and had to have them.
We children always baked cookies together with her and at the end all cookies came in in cans like this. So the cookies were protected from drying out and it looked beautiful.
Today the Christmas Gospel in Portuguese. A language spoken in so many continents. America, Europe, Africa, Oceania.
I don’t know if all States are Christian but today I dedicate this day to all those who read the Gospel of Christmas in Portuguese 🙂
