Like every year I was of course at my beach again this year.
And as always I took photos.
My holiday has been over for some time now. But I didn’t get to choose the photos (almost 1000) for my blog. At the moment I’m lying at home with a cold and it’s so boring that I used the time to sort my photos.
This photo was taken right on the first day. We didn’t even unpack the suitcases but went directly to the beach. ❤ ❤ ❤
Luckily the pockets of my shorts were empty, because the shorts were sprayed wet almost up to my butt 😀

Sunshine, waves, sand and the very special smell of the sea. What more could you ask for?

If you are interested in maritime decoration like me, you have probably already seen pictures of handicrafts or furniture made of driftwood on the Internet.
Somehow I never paid attention to driftwood during the last years or it had already been taken away by collectors. I read that they are looking for driftwood on the beach very early in the morning.
Anyway, this year it was right in front of my feet.

A little further away, I saw those two logs. I was wondering which way they had gone. Are they coming from far away or just a few miles from the beach?

I’ve noticed the little sticks before, when I was on vacation. I always thought they put sticks in the sand to protect the sea grass and the sand during storms. I once pulled on one, and no, they weren’t put in. I think they are roots of a plant.
Don’t ask which one. I don’t know anything about plants hehe

See that stone in the middle? These stones from the sea do not only look beautiful, they also feel totally good. They are wonderfully smooth and come in great colours.

The next photo looks like I arranged it. No, I didn’t. I found it just like that on the beach and found the combination perfect 🙂

There is no sandy beach without tens of tracks. Footprints, or those of seagulls walking on the beach, or traces of the huge number of dogs walking there.
The dog that made this footprint was huge!!! I once put my shoe next to it to show what giant paws it had hihi So you can see the ratio, I have UK size 6.5 😀

No, it wasn’t that dog. That day it was soooo hot outside. The dog was sitting in a bus stop and I had to photograph him. He was a bit shy if you came too close. So I stood in the heat instead of in the shadow at the bus stop. After all I don’t have any fur that makes you feel the temperature even more.

Our last night of vacation. Shortly after sunset. See how calm the sea is? Quite the opposite to the photos during the day. The sound of the waves was very soft. Really relaxing. We passed people who recorded the sound. It looked very professional. Maybe they make a relaxing CD out of the recordings.
The colors in the photo are the same as in reality. Simply beautiful ❤
